Students from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Korea, New Zealand and other regions took part. More than 400 high-school participants from over 120 schools responded to culture, identity, materials and the future through fashion design, fashion illustration and accessories.

From portfolio to the Shanghai Fashion Week stage
On 28 March 2026, the inaugural final runway and awards ceremony took place at the creative venue in Shanghai Sihang Warehouse as part of the China Cup programme on the official Shanghai Fashion Week AW2026 calendar. Fashion works entered the runway, while illustration and accessories were presented in exhibition.

A thirty-year legacy carried forward
Founded in 1995, China Cup introduced its high-school edition at its thirtieth-anniversary milestone. This was more than a new age category: it brought professional standards, international exchange and real industry feedback to a younger generation of creators.
