"content_text": "EN: The expanded collaboration will bring creative-industry expertise, international universities and college-and-career guidance closer to schools and young creators.\n\nEN A partnership enters its next chapter: ACT is deepening its partnership with the China Cup, returning for the 2026/2027 season as a Starlight Strategic Partner of the China Cup Global High School Fashion and Design Competition. The expanded collaboration is designed to move in two directions: creative, artistic and industry resources will reach more schools, while international universities and experts will gain a closer connection to the competition and its young participants. That shift matters. The value of a competition is not confined to the moment a student steps onto a stage; it also lies in what continues afterward—in classrooms, in conversations with teachers and in the choices students make about university and work. ACT brings a long-standing focus on college and career readiness. The China Cup gives young creators a route from classroom ideas to professional settings. Together, the organizations will connect those ambitions across school arts education, career exploration, public-interest programs, international university engagement and expert judging. The partnership builds on ACT's role in the inaugural competition, when it contributed an international education perspective to the discovery and development of young design talent.\n\nEN ACT’s focus: life beyond the classroom: For more than 65 years, ACT has worked on a central question in education: how can students turn what they learn into readiness for college and work? The global education organization supports students, educators, schools, government agencies and employers through research, assessment, learning resources and career-readiness credentials. Its international work includes the ACT Global Assessment Certificate, or GAC, a comprehensive program for students that combines academic study with communication, social-emotional development, research, test preparation and education and career planning. ACT Approved Teaching Centers operate across international schools, local secondary schools, universities, language institutions and business schools in China and other markets. That range gives ACT a direct view of how different schools teach—and what their students need next.\n\nEN A network built around student pathways: Four strengths shape ACT's contribution to the partnership. The first is research: more than six decades of work across learning, assessment, college readiness and career development. The second is a whole-student approach that considers academic foundations alongside transferable abilities, behavioral skills and long-term planning. The third is a diverse school network, with Approved Teaching Centers embedded in secondary schools, universities and other education providers. The fourth is an international university network. ACT's GAC partner institutions span North America, Europe, Australia and Asia; each recognizes the program under its own admissions standards and determines the opportunities available to eligible students. Taken together, these resources form a more continuous path from secondary-school learning to university and career exploration.\n\nEN Where design meets future readiness: Design is often judged by the finished work—a garment, an illustration, an accessory or a digital character. For students, however, the process begins much earlier. They have to observe closely, conduct research, develop a point of view, test ideas and make decisions within real constraints. Those habits closely match the transferable abilities ACT emphasizes: communication, collaboration, project management and informed planning for education and work. For schools, fashion and design can make arts education, interdisciplinary learning and early career exploration tangible. For students, a single project can reveal an interest, document an ability and open a first window onto professional practice. The partnership is intended to make those connections easier to see.\n\nEN A competition with an industry-facing stage: The China Cup International Fashion Design Competition was founded in 1995, linking design talent with professional evaluation and a public industry platform. In 2026, it introduced a high-school division for the first time. The new division appeared on the official Autumn/Winter 2026 Shanghai Fashion Week calendar, bringing work by students from China and abroad into runway, exhibition and awards settings. The 2026/2027 season is open to students in Grades 8 through 12, or the equivalent, in four categories: Fashion Design; Fashion Illustration; Fashion Accessories; and Digital Character and Virtual Fashion Design. The format asks students to do more than submit a finished piece. Through authentic briefs, professional feedback and public presentation, they build experience in research, judgment, execution, communication and reflection.\n\nEN What the expanded partnership will do: The new agreement centers on four practical areas. First, ACT will draw on the China Cup's platform and professional network to bring more creative, artistic and industry resources to its authorized schools and Approved Teaching Centers. Second, the partners plan public-interest talks and training for teachers and students, with possible themes including creative thinking, project-based learning, international education, subject choices and careers in the creative industries; topics, formats and dates will be announced separately. Third, the China Cup will use ACT's international university network to connect participating schools with university educators and experts, giving students a clearer view of how institutions approach creative disciplines, interdisciplinary work and talent development. Fourth, the partners will invite more professors from international universities to join the jury. Their perspectives can broaden the evaluation of original thinking, research, communication and potential—and help students understand how universities read creative work.\n\nEN Opening a wider field for young creators: The partnership creates a two-way channel. Through the China Cup, ACT's schools will gain more opportunities to engage with art, design and industry practice. Through ACT, participating schools and students will gain closer access to international universities and a wider range of professional perspectives. The goal is straightforward: to create more real settings in which young people's ideas can be seen, understood and developed. Registration is now open for the 2026/2027 China Cup Global High School Fashion and Design Competition. Students in Grades 8 through 12, or the equivalent, may enter in four categories. "content_text": "EN: The 2026/2027 China Cup welcomes MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY as a Starlight Strategic Partner. The collaboration will bring professional make-up artistry, runway expertise and industry insight to young designers worldwide.\n\nEN A Partnership Shaped by the Runway: The China Cup is pleased to welcome MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY as a Starlight Strategic Partner for the 2026/2027 season. The announcement builds on a collaboration that began with the inaugural high-school competition, where the Academy served as Chief Strategic Partner.\n\nThat first season demonstrated how much a strong creative team can add to a young designer’s work. On a professional runway, a garment is never seen in isolation: make-up, hair, casting, lighting and photography all influence how an idea is understood. By bringing these disciplines together, the partnership helped students present their work with greater clarity and impact.\n\nFor the new season, the Academy will once again contribute its expertise and professional network, helping the China Cup create a richer platform for emerging design talent.\n\nEN Where Fine Art Meets Professional Make-up: MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY was founded in Paris in 2002 by artist and make-up professional Dany Sanz. Her training in fine art—and her fascination with colour, texture and form—shaped an approach to make-up that is both technically rigorous and creatively expressive.\n\nAt the Academy, make-up is taught as more than a practical skill. It is a way to build character, communicate identity and support a wider visual narrative. Under the guiding principles “Create, teach and elevate,” students develop artistic judgement alongside the techniques required for professional practice.\n\nToday, the Academy’s international network extends from Paris to Shanghai. Its teams contribute to runway shows, editorial productions and creative styling projects, giving students direct insight into the standards and working methods of the industry.\n\nEN An Academy with a Global Industry Outlook: MAKE UP FOR EVER is part of LVMH, the global luxury group whose portfolio spans fashion and leather goods, perfumes and cosmetics, watches and jewellery, wines and spirits, and selective retailing. MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY was established by the brand to develop the next generation of professional make-up artists.\n\nThis position within the international luxury and fashion landscape gives the Academy a broad view of how creativity operates in professional settings. Excellence, innovation, craft and image-making are not abstract ideas; they are standards applied across real projects and working environments.\n\nThrough the China Cup collaboration, young designers will gain a closer view of that professional world and a better understanding of how a creative concept evolves through styling, presentation and production.\n\nEN Giving Emerging Designers a Complete Platform: Since its founding in 1995, the China Cup International Fashion Design Competition has become an established platform within China’s fashion design community. Based in Shanghai and internationally oriented, it connects emerging creativity with education, professional expertise and industry opportunity.\n\nThe inaugural China Cup Global High School Fashion Design Competition brought together secondary-school students from China and overseas. Its final runway show and awards ceremony took place on 28 March 2026 at Shanghai’s Sihang Warehouse and appeared on the official Shanghai Fashion Week AW2026 calendar as part of the China Cup programme.\n\nThe 2026/2027 competition expands that platform across four tracks: Fashion Design, Fashion Illustration, Fashion Accessories, and Digital Character and Virtual Fashion Design. Each track is designed to help students develop their ideas, strengthen their portfolios, receive professional feedback and present their work to a wider audience.\n\nEN From Design Concept to Runway Image: MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY will provide professional hair and make-up support for the China Cup showcase of outstanding work during activities associated with Shanghai Fashion Week.\n\nThe styling process will begin with the designer’s idea. The Academy team will consider the concept, silhouette, model and stage environment before developing a visual direction that brings make-up, hair, clothing and lighting into one coherent runway image.\n\nFor participating students, the experience offers a valuable introduction to collaborative fashion practice. They will see how specialists interpret a brief, make creative decisions together and translate a design from a portfolio concept into a live presentation.\n\nEN Industry Insight at the Judging Table: The Academy will also support the competition’s judging programme by drawing on its network across fashion, beauty, styling, branding and the wider luxury industry.\n\nThis range of perspectives will allow student work to be considered beyond its immediate visual effect. Judges can look at the strength of the idea, the designer’s point of view, the relationship between concept and execution, and the potential for further development.\n\nFor young entrants, professional feedback is an important part of the experience. It offers a glimpse into how the industry evaluates creative work—and practical guidance on how to communicate and refine an idea.\n\nEN Taking Aesthetics Education Beyond the Runway: The two organisations also plan to explore community-focused talks on aesthetics for students, schools and teachers. Possible themes include visual styling, colour, character development and careers within the fashion industry.\n\nThe aim is to make professional knowledge useful beyond the final show. By bringing industry perspectives into educational settings, the programme can help more young people develop visual awareness, understand creative roles and see new possibilities for their own development.\n\nTopics, formats and dates will be announced as the programme takes shape.\n\nEN A Shared Commitment to Emerging Creativity: Young designers need room to experiment before their creative voices are fully formed. A competition and its industry partners can support that process by offering context, constructive feedback and the professional tools needed to turn an early idea into a compelling piece of work.\n\nThe China Cup looks forward to working with MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY throughout the 2026/2027 season—and to seeing how the next generation brings its imagination to the runway.\n\nRegistration is open to secondary-school students worldwide across four competition tracks. Students can apply through “Competition Registration” on the GlobalStudyHub WeChat account homepage. Organisations interested in supporting the new season are also welcome to contact the China Cup to explore partnership opportunities.\n\nZH: MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY与“中华杯”再度携手，正式成为2026/2027“中华杯”高中生国际时尚与设计大赛星光战略合作伙伴。 MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY与“中华杯”再度携手，正式成为2026/2027“中华杯”高中生国际时尚与设计大赛星光战略合作伙伴。 MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY以首席战略合作伙伴身份加入赛事，为“中华杯”连接专业时尚资源、提升青年作品的整体呈现提供了重要支持。 MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY将持续为“中华杯”的专业资源网络与青年设计人才成长注入美学力量。 MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY由彩妆艺术家Dany Sanz于2002年在巴黎创立，以培养世界级彩妆艺术家为目标。 MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY持续坚持的使命。 \n\n目前，MAKE UP FOR EVER已建立从巴黎延伸至上海的国际彩妆学院网络。 \n\nZH 背靠LVMH，连接全球奢侈品与时尚产业视野: MAKE UP FOR EVER是全球奢侈品集团LVMH旗下的专业彩妆品牌，MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY由品牌设立。 MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY将以专业服务支持“中华杯”优秀作品大秀，并为舞台呈现提供妆发支持。 MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY在时尚与奢侈品行业积累的专家资源，学院将为新一届“中华杯”提供专业评审支持。 MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY继续与2026/2027“中华杯”高中生国际时尚与设计大赛同行。 ,

"bodyEn": "Design is often judged by the finished work—a garment, an illustration, an accessory or a digital character. The partnership is intended to make those connections easier to see."

"bodyEn": "The China Cup International Fashion Design Competition was founded in 1995, linking design talent with professional evaluation and a public industry platform. Through authentic briefs, professional feedback and public presentation, they build experience in research, judgment, execution, communication and reflection."

"bodyEn": "The new agreement centers on four practical areas. Their perspectives can broaden the evaluation of original thinking, research, communication and potential—and help students understand how universities read creative work."
